House of Music Vienna

Located in the former residence of the founder of the Vienna Philharmonic, the recently opened museum provides visitors with an insight into the world of music. It presents a rich resource of documentary as well as anecdotal history; its actual, virtual and unique installations are inspiring, and it can function as a turntable for the vast treasures of the musical metropolis. The House of Music is an multimedia music experience, where you will even be able to conduct the Vienna Philharmonics - if only virtually!

Mozart´s Birthplace

The rooms where W.A. Mozart was born in 1756 now houses a museum. The most famous exhibits include Mozart's childhood violin, his concert violin, his clavichord, pianoforte, portraits and correspondence of the Mozart family.
