Salzburg

On the northern edge of the Alps, surrounded by landscapes straight out of The Sound of Music, is Salzburg. The capital city of the province with the same name has a unique cityscape, recognized around the world for its beauty and grandeur. And undoubtedly the city owes some of its international appeal to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who was born here in 1756.
