The town maintains its antique architecture through its old houses and the Chapel "Nuestra Seņora del Rosario", whose steeple is visible from far away. The Pisco Elqui property is located nearby. This is the oldest distillery of pisco (Chilean liquor similar to clear brandy) in the region and it can be visited through programmed tours. How to get there Santiago-La Serena: by airplane and land. From La Serena take the road to Valle del Elqui, going east. This road passes by Vicuņa (66 km from La Serena), and Rivadavia at the 83rd kilometer. At this point head towards the right, and at the end you will find Pisco Elqui, at 103 kilometers.
