Huisduinen/Julianadorp

Huisduinen is an old fishing village. Much older than Den Helder, it has a lot to offer, including extensive dune and wood districts, sunbathing on the wide and clean beaches, as well as surfing, diving, fishing and cycling facilities. Another major attraction is its unique fort built by Napoleon, which now houses a restaurant, museums and a sea aquarium. Huisduinen also accommodates a number of restaurants and it is even possible to enjoy dinner by the sea.

QUIET LANDSCAPE

The coast from Groote Keeten up to Den Helder presents a quiet landscape. A number of luxury holiday home parks, including even a golf course, have been built in the vicinity of Julianadorp to the south of Den Helder.
