Kirklareli hosts the Archeology Museum that exhibits finds and artificats from local excavations.

The Bolu Archeology Museum and The Ethography Museum have artifacts from the Hittite, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman Periods.

Icon in the Sinop, Archeology Museum

The Archeology Museum in Sinop exhibits several beautiful golden icons, and the Aslan Torunlar Museum (18th century) displays ethnographical artifacts and finds.

Ikiztepe, 7 km northeast of Bafra is an archeological site including over 600 graves from the early Bronze Age (2300-2100 BC) that uncovers much of Black Sea regional history.

The artifacts, including jewelery, which is especially important, can be seen in the Samsun Museum.

Lesser Ayasofya Museum, Trabzon

The Ataturk Museum in Samsun, houses many objects and documents relating to the war.

The Archeology Museum in Samsun not only displays the finds from Ikiztepe but also from Dundartepe and Amisos, as Samsun was known in ancient times.

The jewel of Trabzon's monuments is the restored 13th century Byzantine church, used for centuries as a mosque and now as the Ayasofya Museum which contains splendid frescoes, some of the finest examples of Byzantine painting, cover every one of the interior church walls.

In Trabzon, wooden houses fill the old quarter nestled in the ancient fortificiations, which still remain the spirit of a medieval town. The house in which Ataturk stayed has been made into a museum.

In Rize, Mehmet Matarci Mansion is now an Ataturk Museum that displays his personal belongings as well as ethnographical artifacts from the region
