Ambassadors Theatre

This intimate Edwardian theatre designed by W G R Sprague in 1913 saw the West End debuts of Ivor Novello in 1921 and Vivien Leigh in 1935. In 1952 The Mousetrap, the famous 'whodunit' by Agatha Christie and the world's longest-running production, opened and continued here for more than 21 years before relocating next door to St Martin's.
