Beaulieu Palace & Motor Museum

Palace House, once the Great Gatehouse of Beaulieu Abbey contains the resident Montagu family treasures, portraits, photographs and memorabilia. Set in the beautiful gardens overlooking the Monks Mill Pond the site also contains the picturesque abbey building ruins which houses an exhibition on monastic life in the Middle Ages.

Longdown Activity Farm

Learning about farming is fun at Longdown! There are lots of hands on activities each day including calf feeding, chick handling and goat feeding. There are indoor and outdoor play areas, plus three trampolines and two ball pools.

The Gurkha Museum

The Gurkha Museum commemorates the services of the Gurkhas to the British since 1815. The story starts with a view of the Gurkha and Nepal, and his homeland, before the visitor is taken through the main chapters of Gurkha military history from 1815 to the present day.

The Solent Steam Packet Ltd.

“Shieldhall” is a classic steam ship owned and operated by The Solent Steam Packet Ltd., which is a charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers. Twin triple expansion steam engines make “Shieldhall” quite unique in Britain.

West Meon Pottery

West Meon Pottery is based in a country workshop situated beneath the South Downs. There are a small team of dedicated craftsmen specialising in traditional techniques producing handmade architectural and garden terracotta.

Whitchurch Silk Mill
