Five Sailed Windmill

One of England’s finest working windmills on the edge of an attractive market town. Organic stone-ground flours are on sale in the Mill Shop and visitors can see the centuries old stone grinding process in action (wind permitting) whilst enjoying views of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Grimsthorpe Castle

Grimsthorpe Castle is an architecturally stunning house with beautiful contents, including paintings, furniture and tapestries. It is surrounded by 3,000 acres of landscaped parkland, lakes and extensive gardens.

Gunby Hall

Tennysons “Haunt of Ancient Peace”, Gunby Hall is poised on the edge of the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds. Built in 1800, the local red bricked house is described as a “Living Dolls House”.

Heckington Windmill

Heckington Windmill will be fully operational again in the Spring of 2004 following major repairs. Once again we can invite you to visit the only eight-sailed windmill in Western Europe, to enjoy the view and to experience the thrill of stone-ground flour being produced by wind power.

Natureland Seal Sanctuary

Natureland combines education, entertainment and conservation for your enjoyment. We are well known for our work rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned baby seals and returning them to the wild.
