Conisbrough Castle

Conisbrough Castle is managed by the Ivanhoe Trust on behalf of English Heritage and Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council for the enjoyment of everyone.

Earth Centre

Earth Centre is described as an Active Park for Leisure and Learning. But the emphasis is on fun! Outdoor activities, intriguing exhibitions, unusual gardens and fantastic play areas are complemented with scrumptious food and several retail outlets where gift ideas from fair traded sources are available in abundance! Regular special events at no extra charge are a welcome addition to this unusual but fun venue.

Roche Abbey

Roche Abbey is a Cistercian monastery, founded in 1147, and set in an enchanting valley landscaped by Capability Brown. Excavation has revealed the complete layout of the abbey.

Tropical Butterfly House

The centre currently is home to the Tropical House, Bird of prey centre, baby animal nursery, Pets corner and a mature nature trail. In turn these areas house many exotic species of plants and animals from Philippine butterflies, American Hawks, African Marmosets monkeys and Australian Bearded Dragons.

Victoria Jubilee Museum

A charming museum in the lovely award winning South Yorkshire village of Cawthorne. Housed in a reconstructed building, first opened for Queen Victoria’s jubilee with exhibits of domestic bygones, Victoriana, memorabilia, natural history, local industries and much, much more with something of interest for all.
