Although it is the most famous of the bridges that crosses the River Tyne; it was only finished in 1928 (when George V opened it). Woodhorn Colliery Museum Set in the Queen Elizabeth II Country Park, Woodhorn Colliery is the only coalmining museum in Northumberland. It offers excellent facilities for a great day out. |
