Banff Museum

Banff Museum is 180 years old and in this present building for 100 years. We are open from 18th June to 30th September yearly, from 2-4.30 daily except for Sundays.

Blairs Museum

You can come face to face with over 500 years of history at the Blairs Museum. The Museum is set in part of the former college on Royal Deeside. Mary Queen of Scots is Scotland’s best-known tragic heroine.

Brodie Castle

Set in parkland, Brodie Castle is old but the family association with the area is even older. Malcolm IV first endowed the Brodies with their lands in 1160 and a Thane of Brodie is recorded in the reign of Alexander III.

Crathes Castle

Crathes Castle, built in the second half of the 16th century, is a superb example of a tower house of the period. Some of the rooms retain their original painted ceilings and collections of family portraits and furniture.

Drum Castle and Garden

The keep of Drum Castle is one of the three oldest tower houses surviving in Scotland. It was the work of Richard Cementarius, first Provost of Aberdeen and Kin’s Master mason, in the late 13th century.
