Free Derry Corner Probably the most famous and most visited political landmark in the world, Free Derry Corner attracts hundreds of tourists daily. The Free Derry wall was originally the gable wall of a house on the Lecky Road, the heart of the civil rights marches. H-Block Monument The H-Block Monument is located in the Free Derry area of the Bogside, Derry. The monument is in remembrance of the hunger strikers in the H-Block of Long Kesh prison in 1981. Reverend George Walker Monument On the Double Bastion section of the West Walls, 1826, a 27m tall monument to the Reverend George Walker, Joint-Governor of Derry during the Great Siege was erected. St. Eugenes Cathedral This marvellous Roman Catholic Cathedral towers above the surrounding Creggan area of the city.
